Send the full manuscript of the letter on speculation that meets the submission guidelines as an MS Word .doc attachment to:

Please put this email address in your white list or approved list. Also, some email services such as Yahoo!, AOL, and Comcast will put our emails in your spam or bulk email box, so be sure to look for them there.

ATTENTION HOTMAIL USERS: Hotmail will not deliver our messages to you. If you submit through a Hotmail address, we will not be able to respond to your submissions. Unfortunately, this is completely out of our control.

In the subject of the email put: UNSENT LETTERS SUBMISSIONS

If you fail to do this, we may not see your submission, since we receive hundreds of emails per day. Putting this subject in the email will cause the filter to automatically put your submission into the right inbox folder for us to review.

In the body of the email, please put your name and the title of the Unsent Letter you are submitting. If you are submitting a photograph for consideration along with your Unsent Letter, please state so in the body of the email, so we know the attachment is intended.

You may also put a 1-3 sentence short biography of yourself, if you would like. This step isn't necessary.

All submissions should be in MS Word format (download the free Open Office and save in .doc if you do not have MS Word) doubled spaced, using Courier New font at size 12. Please do not use any fancy formatting or fonts. Indent the first line using first line auto-indent in MS Word, setting it at .3.

We will respond to all submissions we receive, but please give us anywhere from 2 - 8 weeks to respond. If you use any free email service, like Yahoo!, AOL, or Hotmail, our response might end up in your email spam/bulk mailbox.
